Hello! I started this blog in 2020 to help women easily find technical gear that will take them from the backcountry to brunch. Purchasing outdoor gear can be overwhelming and confusing. Let me take out the guesswork by recommending only the items I love.
Now for my day job. In the United States, 30-40% of our food supply goes to waste. Imperfect Foods is on a mission to change that. As a digital merchandiser, I am tasked with a fun problem to solve - how do we build a compelling online shopping experience to educate the world on how healthy, quirky, and delicious "imperfect" food can be? Putting googly eyes on produce was just the start. During my time here, we've beefed up our product assortment (literally - we expanded into meat), grown to a nationally recognized brand, and celebrated having diverted over 130 million pounds of food from the landfill.
When I'm not saving ugly vegetables, I serve on the Board of Advisors for Moonlight Beverage Company, a start-up making waves in the functional beverage space.
